ADHD (Focus Stabilisation): the 90-second routine
When the mind moves faster than the task requires, this pattern creates an external rhythm to anchor attention.
1 · Arrive — 30 seconds
Breathe with Global: Inhale 5s · hold 5s · exhale 5s · hold 5s. The coach video and the music follow every inhale and exhale, and the FLOW line shows you when to breathe in and out.
2 · Visualize — 45 seconds
- Picture your workspace for adhd (focus stabilisation). One task. Everything else is closed.
- See your hands start the first small step — the easiest one.
- A distraction pulls. You notice it, exhale, and return to the task.
- Feel the moment the work starts to flow. Time slips by.
- See the end: the work is done and you feel quietly proud.
3 · Anchor — 15 seconds
Tap the desk twice. Say quietly: “Now.” Use the same gesture later in the day with one long exhale.
Why it works
Mental rehearsal engages many of the same brain networks as the real action, and a long exhale shifts the body toward its calming, parasympathetic side. AHΞHA combines both into one short, repeatable ritual. It is a preparation and relaxation tool — not a medical treatment.
